Shiva Garh is located at an elevation of around 3500 meters above sea level. It is around 11kms away from the Patnitop. Shiva Garh is a perfect place for adventure seekers. 5. Nathatop

Nathatop is one of the most famed destinations in Patnitop that is located on the Patnitop- Sanasar road at an altitude of about 7000 feet. It offers such amazing views of snow-covered mountain ranges on all sides. One can even spot the lower Shivalik ranges and Brammah Massif of the marvelous Kishtwar ranges that features peaks such as- Flat top, Brammah I, Brammah II, and Arjuna. This place is also popular among the adventure junkies that come here to get indulge in paragliding, skiing, and trekking. 6. Naag Mandir

The Naag Mandir is around 600 years old and is devoted to the snake king Cobra. During the Nag Panchami festival, several shiva devotees pay a visit to this beautiful temple to worship the snake king Cobra. The temple is made from wood and is surrounded by lush greenery. 7. Billoo ki Powri

Billoo ki Powri is a staircase of around 270 steps that have been carved out of the mountain. It is only a little away from Patnitop and is situated in the town of Dawariyai. The origin of this place is unknown. It is the shorter way to Batote town that was built by the former king of Chenani. Explore this splendid place to make your journey a memorable one.

8. Kud Park

The splendid Kud Park is situated in the Kud and is famed for its pretty flowers. This park is a superb place for a picnic. One can spend some time here with family and friends amidst nature. 9. Sudh Mahadev Temple

The marvelous Sudh Mahadev temple was constructed about 80 years ago. It is nestled at a distance of 42kms from Patnitop.  According to the legends, the temple is built on the spot where a shiva devotee was accidentally killed by his Trishul while he was trying to protect his consort, Goddess Parvati. The temple has a black marble statue of lord shiva and goddess Parvati. Several pilgrims pay a visit to this sacred temple on the full moon night of Sawan to participate in the festival to worship Lord Shiva.
