Road

The SNT- Sikkim Nationalised Transport from its bus terminal at Siliguri ply between Siliguri and Gangtok. One can avail bus service from New Jalpaiguri to Gangtok. Regular buses from cities such as- Siliguri, Bagdogra, Jalpaiguri and Kolkata are available to reach the state. The state capital Gangtok enjoys a good connection with West Bengal through NH 31A that further connects to other parts of India. Regular buses and cabs are available from prominent nearby cities to Gangtok.

Rail

The state Sikkim does not have a railway station of its own. One needs to reach New Jalpaigurior Siliguri railway station as these two are the nearest railway station located in West Bengal. After reaching the station one can hire taxis to reach Sikkim that takes around 5 hours to reach.
