On this Trek you will be staying in a guest house and tents. Your first night it will be in a guest house in Raithal and on the next day your Ascend starts from Raithal to GUI and then from GUI to?Dayara Bugyal.
After spending a complete day Dayara Bugyal and exploring Dayara top and having the magnificent view from there, you will be descending towards Barsu and from Barsu you will be picked up in a car and dropped at Dehradun. The complete Trek is having various paranormal views of Green Meadows and oak and Pine trees. During the winter season the beauty of this place enhances and there is a powdery snow all around and the small crystals which can be seen on the branches of trees appear like a diamond when the rays of sun falls on it. It is strictly prohibited to you to enjoy this Trek during the monsoon season as the path becomes really wet and slippery which increases the chances of getting oneself hurt.
Bugyal is mainly referred as the higher elevated land which has an elevation of 3300 metres to 4000 metres. These Highlands are covered with green grasses and vibrant coloured seasonal flowers which enhances the beauty of this place. During the winter season the complete area gets under the thick sheet of snow and the area appears to be completely white. Dayara Bugyal is located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand and is having an elevation of 3408 metres above sea level. Summer
During the summer months there is no snow left but if you go above the elevation of 10000 feet you can find some traces of snow. During the daytime you can experience a hot Wind blowing but the night times are cooler as compared to day. The area appears to be more greener and the morning scene from your campsite will be really heavenly.
Winter
During the winter months experiencing heavy snowfall, the complete area gets under a thick sheet of snow. You can see the snowflakes and crystals of snow hanging on Pine trees and on your path. This period of time is perfect to have a snowball fight and thrilling and adventurous experience of Dayara Bugyal trek.
Monsoon
During the monsoon season it is not advisable to go on this Trek as due to rainfall the path is more slippery and there are more chances to get hurt. But the temperature remains pleasant and the greenery of the place enhances due to heavy rainfall but to enjoy this landscape you can plan your trip just after the monsoon season gets over.

How To Reach
By Rail
Dehradun railway station is the nearest railway station that is connected to the major cities of India like Delhi, Lucknow, etc. From the railway station, you can hire local bus private vehicles for a taxi to reach Raithal which is the starting point for the trek.
By Road
There are many government buses, taxis, and that run from Delhi to the Dehradun bus stand. On reaching Dehradun you can take a local bus to Dehradun Railway station? and from there you will be picked up in Tata Sumo or some similar category vehicle. The total distance between Dehradun and Raithal is around 180 km which can be covered in the time period of 7 hours.
By Air
Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport which is located in Dehradun. From the airport, you can hire any local vehicle for a cab to reach the point from where you will be picked up in Tata Sumo or similar vehicle.
Best Time To Visit
The best time to go on Dayara Bugyal trek is during the summer months from May to? November month as the temperature remains pleasant and trekkers enjoy this place at its fullest during this period of time. Though many trekkers preferred to visit this place during the winter time just to experience the snowfall and to enhance the adventure and thrill which is caused due to the heavy snow on the path.
Points to be taken into consideration
You need to have a trekking stick without that you can't Move in the mountains.
Altitude sickness is a condition that can happen so if you experience any symptoms such as minor headaches,? general discomfort? or nausea then you can directly contact the trek leader. Each campsite is having stretches,? oxygen cylinders, and other medical facilities.
If the weather conditions become unfavorable during the trek then the decision of trek guides and trek leader is final and you need to follow it.
If you are having any minor or major injuries during the trek then you can contact the trek leaders as they are certified wilderness First Aid responders, and there are stretchers on each campsite on which you can be taken to the nearest medical center.
Walkie talkie will be used for communicating from the camping sites to the base camp as there are no networks available in cellphones.
No tight on body-hugging clothes are allowed.
You need to wear light clothes which can dry easily.
Your body should be fully hydrated and you need to carry a water bottle along with you on the trek.
A pair of raincoats should be taken along on the trek.
You should have good Sports or trekking shoes.
While moving upward you should put down your heel first and while coming downwards you need to walk on your flat foot.

The right to change amend or modify the itinerary of the tour at any time. We will notify you with such changes in prior over the phone or through the mail or the best communication method available at that point of time. Those changes may occur due to situations beyond our control like weather problems, cancellations of trains, flights, and political unrest, etc. We will try our best to keep the tour unchanged. However, any compensation or any refund due to such changes will not be paid by us.
Hotel Bookings
Hotel bookings are made by us on behalf of our customers. We are having a tie-up with many hotels. Although all rates are updated on our website, still there are chances that the rates of Hotels may go up/down. Sometimes rates of the hotel are hiked during long weekends and during festive seasons. It is better that you confirm the rates before making an online payment over the mail. The quality of the room, amenities or meals which are displayed in photos on hotel websites may vary. Booking of the rooms on the same floor/adjacent rooms/ non-smoking rooms in any hotel is not guaranteed. The right to change the pre-booked hotel or the category of rooms is reserved, anytime during the tour due to overbooking of a hotel, blocking of the sewage, electricity/water failure, etc.

Early check-in and late checkout will be charged extra and are subject to the availability of the rooms. Policies for accommodating children and for extra beds may vary from hotel to hotel.
Vehicle Bookings
Vehicles are booked on behalf of our customers. We aim to provide the best available vehicle with the best services to our clients. The costs of diesel/petrol prices, interstate taxes, vehicle maintenance cost, toll & taxes, etc are beyond our control. Rates displayed on our website are eligible for change at any time without any prior notice.
The pre-booked vehicle can be changed to a similar category of vehicle in case of non-availability of the pre-booked vehicle.
Air-conditioned, as well as non-air-conditioned vehicles are booked as per request. If the air conditioner stops working due to technical fault at any time during the tour will not be our responsibility. No refund or change in the vehicle will be made in between the trip unless the vehicle is not in the condition to go further.
Amendments or changes after booking
If you wish to do amendments or change the prior booking, you have to inform us in writing on mail.
Amendment or changes in any booking will be treated as a new booking and will be subject to availability at that time and the additional cost will be charged. The additional cost will be borne by you. There will be an amendment charge of Rs.1000/- applicable.
Cancelation of the booking will be informed to us in writing on mail. The cancellation charges will be applicable depending upon the services. Cancellation of the hotels and airlines will be done according to their own cancellation policies.

Balance Payment
The complete balance payment has to be made before the starting date of the trip. However, the company can ask you anytime to clear the balance payment before 30 days from the date of departure.
The right is reserved to amend/change the prices offered for the tour and to adjust our charges due to various factors like currency fluctuations, special/high season charge levied by the suppliers, fuel price rise, travel arrangements, hike in any government taxes or visa amounts or for any other reason before the date of departure. All such increased prices must be paid before your departure (Full and final).
No refund for unutilized services
There will be no refund or compensation provided for services that are not used. If you fail to avail/use any services due to any reason the company will not provide any kind of refund or any other services as compensation of the unutilized services.
Early morning meet and greet with the representative at the Dehradun railway station and drive toward Raithal (prefer the night journey from Delhi to Dehradun). This will be a 180 km long drive which will be covered in 6 to 7 hours via cab. On your way you will be passing through Uttarkashi market and Bhatwari market where you can buy some woolens and also some trekking essentials, if you forgot to take them along. There will be a low network connectivity but Airtel, Idea and BSNL sims will still be working. On the way from Dehradun to Raithal you will be having the view of Gangotri range and the magnificent moryana top. On arrival at evening time, you will be having a splendid front view of Shrikanth peak and also the view of Mighty Gangotri range. Today you will be staying in a guest house / Homestay and your dinner will be in the home stay only.
On the second day you will be trekking from Raithal to GUI. It is essential to carry a 2 litre water bottle as there is no source of water on the way to go. Today's trekking will be of 3.5 kilometres which will be covered in the duration of 4 to 5 hours. The trekking part will not be that difficult and you will gradually Walk through the trail. On arrival at GUI which is located at an altitude of 7400 to 9500 feets. The camp site will be really magical as it is surrounded by various forest of Golden and Silver Oak trees and other than this there are rhododendron trees which are bloomed with red flowers that enhance the beauty of this place besides this there are small Huts in a village located near the Campsite your overnight stay and dinner will be in the tent.
On the third day of your trek you will be travelling from GUI to Dayara bugyal again before trekking, you need to carry a 2 litre bottle of water as there is no water source on the way. today you will be trekking for around 3.5 kilometre that can be covered easily in 4 to 5 hours. The level of trek will be easy. On arrival at Dayara Bugyal which is located at an altitude of 9500 feet to 11100 feet, here you will be staying in the tent. From your campsite you will be having a stunning view of Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag and other peaks. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in the camp only.
On the fourth day of your trek you will be trekking from the Dayara bugyal to Dayara top. Dayara top is located at an altitude of 11100 feet to 12057 feets. The level of trekking will be a bit tough today as this will be of final ascent and the trial part is a bit steeper. On the way you will be passing through Green Meadows and a beautiful forest of oak trees. You need to carry your own water bottle on this trek as there is no source of water on the way. The total time taken to reach the top is around 5 to 6 hours. On reaching you will be having a massive view of many Himalayan peaks and an awestruck view of Dodital range from the top point of the Dayara. After this expedition you will be descending from Dayara top to your base camp, your overnight stay and dinner will be in the tent itself.
On the fifth day of your trekking you will be descending towards Barsu. To reach Barsu from Dayara Bugyal, it may take up to 3 to 4 hours of trekking. Again you need to carry enough water with you as there is no source of water on the way. On arrival at Barsu you will again be staying in the tent and your overnight stay and dinner will be on the tent only.
This is the last day of your trek today you will be driven from Barsu to Dehradun by covering the distance of 184 km in an approximate time of 7 hours. On the way towards Dehradun you will be having the site of Bhatwari, Uttarkashi, Moryana top etc, then you will be taken to Dehradun and left with the sweet memories of your trip.
