Kanha Tiger Reserve or Kanha National Park is the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh state in India. Kanha National Park was created on 1st June 1955 and in the year 1973, it was made the Kanha Tiger Reserve.
This stunning reserve is in the Maikal range. Numerous Naturalists found this Kanha as the premier national Park in Indian and 1991 and 2001 Kanha National Park was honoured as the most tourism-friendly national park in India by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of India. It is known for its evergreen Sal forests and is home to around 300 species of birds, 43 species of mammals, 26 species of reptiles and around 500 species of insects.
