Sikkim is a state in North East India. Gangtok is the capital of this state. The state is bordered by Bhutan, Tibet, and Nepal. It is the second smallest state in India. This festival is celebrated on the full moon day in the fourth month of the Buddhist calendar at the end of May and the beginning of June, Indrajatra festival is another festival that is celebrated with immense joy and fervor.
The food of Sikkim is majorly non-vegetarian. The food here is a rich mixture of Sikkimese, Nepalese, and Tibetian food. Some lip-smacking dishes include- Dumplings, Thukpa, Phagshapa, Sha Phaley, Gundruk, Sinki, Kinema, and some other delicacies too that will surely force you to eat again and again.
